Divine Accomplishment

Welcome to the second month of the year 2018. Thank God for the windows of heavens from which there have been outpouring of immeasurable blessings upon us. My prayer is that each month of this year will be better and greater than the preceding month in Jesus name. The theme for this month is DIVINE ACCOMPLISHMENT. The scripture writes “Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, the hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me unto you”(Zechariah 4:8-9). This is a prophetic declaration of God upon your life, business, academic, project and endeavours this month, this year and all the rest of your life in Jesus name.
Accomplishment is a coveted trophy that everyone wants. It becomes more interesting and assuaging when it is divinely inspired. It is the heart desire of God for you to accomplish all yourGod-aligned desires, projects, plans and aspirations this month, this year and beyond. God is able as He has the wherewithal to help you accomplish your goals. He has the integrity, the love, the caring heart, the power, the resources, and the wisdom to do so. Examples abound in the bible on how He has done it before. Jesus Christ started his earthly ministry and completed it in spite of all the tricks and devices of the devil and its agents. Paul started his ministry well and accomplished his mission of spreading the gospel globally to the extent that he could boldly say“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7). Solomon started the building of the temple and completed it (1Kings 9:1). Nehemiah started the rebuilding of the wall of Jerusalem and he completed it in spite of internal and external oppositions to the project.

Accomplishment brings into focus the fact that how things start is very important but not as essential as how you end it hence in aviation school greater emphasis is laid on how a pilot lands an aircraft than how it takes off. There is usually great expectations at the beginning of all things. For example, there is usually a great expectation for many people at the beginning of each year as to what the year has in stock for them. There is also expectation for many students who gain admission into higher institutions as to when he/she will graduate from the school. There is an expectation from a person who starts a new job that he/she will leave the job one day voluntarily either for another better job or for retirement without being sacked. All the expectations are just the beginning of the whole project while the accomplishment is the manifestation of the expectation. I pray your expectation will not be cut short (Proverbs 23:18) and your expectations will turn to manifestations in Jesus name.

It is crucial to lay emphasis on the important role of Holy Spirit guidance in divine accomplishment. Also, absolute trust and faith in God and His words is essential, holy and righteous living cannot be compromised while diligence, a life dedicated to praise and prayer cannot be compromised. As you adhere to all these, certainly you will experience divine accomplishment in Jesus name. Happy new month.
