Congratulations and welcome to the month of June, the concluding month for the first half of this year. The theme for this month is NEW SONG. The psalmist says “I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord”. Psalm 40:1-3. This is a month of new song and God will put a new song in the mouth of every one of us in Jesus name. Also, God says “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it” (Isaiah 55:11). The word of God that goes out to Mount Zion parish declaring this month as a month of New Song will bring forth many testimonies. I decree that new songs will not cease in your lives and the one you are singing now will not attract sadness unto your life in Jesus name.

I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord

Psalm 40:1-3

It is worthy of note that every genuine song comes from the inner most part of one’s being, which is the heart. Hence every spirit-filled song composer draws inspiration from the almighty God through constant intimate relationship with Him. This month is a month of new song, which you must sing a new song and people must also sing new song concerning you to glorify God in Jesus name. For this to happen, without any hindrance, you must purify and sanctify your heart.  No wonder the bible says “Not that which goes into the mouth defiles a man; but that which comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man” (Mathew 15:11). For whatever comes out of the mouth comes from the heart using mouth as ordinary tool. Is your heart defiled, take care of it. Is your impure and adulterated, please pay attention to it because it will be difficult for a person with unclean, impure, and hatred-filled heart to sing a new song that will manifest the glory of God. Hence the bible admonishes us to “Keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” (Proverb 4:23). I decree into your life today that nothing will stop you from singing a new song, you will celebrate and people will celebrate you in Jesus name.

In conclusion, it is very important to note the sacrifices that David passed through before the new song came. First, he waited patiently for the Lord for proper direction. Second, he cried unto the lord. After doing his own part, God took him through some processes before the new song. First, God brought him out of miry clay and horrible pit. Second God set his feet upon a rock. Third he established his goings. It is after this that the new song came. All these processes may be long but I assure you that God will hasten the whole processes and bring them into completion before the end of this month. Whatever may be the situation now, just trust in God, be focused and God will definitely put a new song in your mouth. Remain blessed.
