I am delighted to welcome you to the month of April, the beginning of the second quarter of the year. In the month of March, God passed through our midst in a special way to turn all impossibilities into possibilities with attendant great testimonies and miraculous experiences. It was a month of new experiences, new achievements, new acquisitions, new levels, new breakthroughs, new victories, and new greatness. We bless the name of the Lord for counting us worthy to be partakers of this great grace. We will continue to experience it throughout the days of our lives in Jesus’ name.

The theme for this month is EBENEZER, and our anchor scripture for this month is I Samuel 7:12, which says “Then Samuel took a stone, and set it between Mizpah and Shen, and called the name of it Ebenezer, saying, Hitherto hath the LORD helped us.”. The theme for this month calls upon us for sober reflection and the need to appreciate God the more concerning our lives. It is a theme that is calling upon us to put on a heart of gratitude to the almighty God. It is calling us to return all glory and honour to this gracious God. The happenings in the world in the first three months of this year have been mind-boggling. People have experienced losses, famines, wars, natural disasters and lack, but God has sustained us through it all. We survived all of them and we overcame them with joy and great things from the Lord that cause for celebration. Truly, we have received massive help from God, and we are glad for it. So “ebenezer” remembers the help and appreciates the help of God. The implication of this is that when God helps a man and you return to give Him praise for this, you will receive more help from Him. This is the confidence we have that the Lord, who has helped us to this point, will not leave nor forsake us. He will continue to carry us in His arms. Furthermore, His mercy will not be taken away from us, and His faithfulness will not fail us. We will continue to experience good and sound health, our spiritual life will continue to enjoy His coverage and guidance. Also, God is available for us to draw unusual and great strength from.

What is expected of us is to draw closer to God more than before. If you have not given your life to Jesus Christ, do so now. If you are already in Christ, please do not lose your salvation. Always obey God’s instructions, trust him more, study the Word of God more and engage in meaningful and life-changing prayer more. Do not forget to cultivate the habit of giving and be merciful to everyone that comes your way. Again, remember that you are not an ordinary being but a special and unique being created by God for a particular purpose. I pray for you that you will not operate outside of God’s purpose for your life in Jesus’ name.

This month, we will be celebrating Easter to commemorate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. I pray that the power of resurrection will work great wonders in your life in Jesus’ name. You will experience revival in your life, and whatever appears to be dead in any area of your life will receive life now in Jesus’ name. Once more, I wish you a happy new month.
