The department encourages members on the need to read Christian books and watch Christian movies/messages for soul-enriching. It coordinates the borrowing/lending of books from the church library. It sees to the equipping of the library with life-transforming books. The department is currently under the leadership of Bro Segun Ojumoola a minister of RCCG, a consummate teacher of the word, and a Masters degree holder
