The first thing God spoke to man was, “Be blessed.” – ‘Be blessed’ means everything on earth cooperates to make sure that you must succeed. Genesis 26: 1-16.
But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness, and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.
Joy is not the absence of sadness, but the focus on the outcome of a process supervised by God.
God cannot give us happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.
