With a heart full of joy and peace, I warmly welcome you to March, the third month of the year. I also congratulate you for being an active participant at this year RCCG annual 100 days fasting and prayer. I believe it has been another awesome and enriching experience with our gracious God. As the dividends begin to roll in, you will be alive, hale, and hearty, and you will enjoy them to the fullest in Jesus’ name. In this year of open doors, you will continuously experience and enjoy open doors without hindrance in all areas of your life in Jesus’ name.
The theme for this month is POSSIBILITY, and our anchor scripture is Mathew 19:26, which says, “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible”. This theme couldn’t have been more appropriate considering God’s benevolent theme of supernatural, which he gave us last month. When the supernatural steps into someone’s life, all things that appear to be impossible become possible. This is good news for all of us. God is good, kind, caring, and always loving. There are many biblical examples and personal experiences that confirm God’s unending and elastic ability and capacity to make possible what appears to be impossible and what man’s ability could not do.
There are many biblical examples and personal experiences that confirm God’s unending and elastic ability and capacity to make possible what appears to be impossible…
- For examples, it appears impossible for Sarah to have a child after reaching the age of menopause, but God made it possible (Genesis 21:2). It appears impossible for Hannah have her own children after many years of barrenness, but God hearken to her voice as she was not only given a covenant child in person of Samuel but additional other five children (I Samuel 2:21).
- It appears impossible for the woman of the issue of blood to get freedom from a sickness that has consumed all her wealth, but Jesus made her free (Mark 5:25-34).
- It appears impossible for Paul to survive the poisonous snake, but God made it possible (Acts 28:3-5).
- It appears impossible for Peter to survive the death sword of King Herod, who killed John the Baptist, but God made it possible, and he preached the gospel of Christ through the world during his lifetime (Acts 12:3-19).
- It appears impossible that a chronic murderer and anti-Christ like Paul could be saved and later became the greatest of all the apostles in the bible.
- It appears to be impossible that Ruth, from the cursed Moabite lineage, could receive grace and reverse the curse.
The same grace of God that turns impossibility to possibility is available for you, and it will work for you in Jesus’ name.
Meanwhile, make sure that all things you want God to make possible align with the word of God. You cannot have bad intentions, and you expect God to make it possible for realization. Cultivate good habits with a pure heart and clean hands, be prayerful, always study God’s word, and have a conscience devoid of offence towards God and men (Acts 24:16).
You are blessed in Jesus’ name.
