With a grateful heart, I gladly welcome you to the month of March, the last month in the first quarter of the year. I also rejoice with you for the successful completion of this year’s RCCG annual 30-day fasting and prayer. I believe it has been a great reflective and soul-searching experience with the Almighty. As the blessings begin to roll in, you will be alive, hale and hearty to enjoy them to the fullest in Jesus name. In this year of outpouring, you will continuously experience the divine touch and visitation in all areas of your life in Jesus name.

The theme for this month is REJOICING, and our anchor scripture is Philippians 4:4, which says, “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again, I will say, rejoice!”  This is another reassuring word from our gracious God. The world we live in is full of uncertainties, betrayals from all angles, disappointment in various forms, replete with wars and conflicts, high global economic hiccups and diseases in an unfathomable way. Hunger and poverty are not left out, while hope appears to be fading on the horizon. In spite of all these, God says we should rejoice because this is our month of rejoicing. When God gives us this type of assurance, we should relax because He is in control. God is in charge of turning things around for you. God is in control to turn impossibility into possibility. God is in control to make ways where there seems to be no way. God is in control to grant you speed to recover all lost grounds. God is in control to turn a hopeless situation to assurance of hope. God is in control to remove shame and reproach from your life. God is in control to deal with you wonderfully. God is in control to make you experience a breakthrough and break forth. God is in control to turn your fear into confidence in Him. God is in control to surround you with favour and open heavens. Why will you not rejoice then?

However, do not take the grace of God for granted and be mindful of the way you live your life. Make sure you do not deliberately cause people to be sorrowful. Avoid conflict as much as possible. As much as it lies in your hands, pursue peace with all people. Be intentional in doing good to others. Also, take your prayer life seriously, study the word of God painstakingly, act out the Word of God and let your life be a good role model for others. I can assure you that in the name of Jesus, whosoever wants to bring sadness into your life will fail woefully.

You are a blessing in Jesus name. Once more, happy new month.
