May the grace of God abound unto you always. Welcome to the month of December, the concluding step for this year. The theme for this month is STANDING ON GOD’S PROMISES. This is quite encouraging because the far-reaching implication of this is that we are emerging victorious over all the works of darkness at the end of this year, despite some challenges that stubbornly think they will defeat us.
God is always faithful. He honours His words more than His name (Psalm 138:2). Also, He watches over His words to see them being fulfilled (Jeremiah 1:12). So, the year might have been far spent, and some challenges might have been coming from various directions while some of them appear overwhelming, the promises of God concerning you from foundation of your life till eternity will be fulfilled in Jesus’ name.
Searching through the scriptures, there is a promise of victory over every life’s challenge. He promises us His abiding presence in all situations and wherever we go (Exodus 33:14). He promises us freedom from bondage and the yoke of the taskmasters (Leviticus 26:12-13). He promises us victory over every form of fear because He will fight the enemy on our behalf (Deuteronomy 3:22). He promises us extraordinary strength and help (Isaiah 41:10). He promises us a new experience of peace that will erase past unpalatable memories (Isaiah 65:17). He promises us good health and divine prosperity (3 John 2). He calls us apple of His eyes (Zechariah 2:8) and the bible says He cares so much for us that He asks us to cast all our burdens upon Him (1 Peter 5:7). He promises us genuine rest from yokes of life (Mathew 11:28). He has the capacity to supply all our needs (Philippians 4:19). He promises to redeem us from the power of death (Hosea 13:14). All these promises and many more in the scriptures encourage us to rise above our present circumstances and challenges which may come in form of fire or flood and stand firm on God’s promises.
- His abiding presence wherever we go (Exodus 33:14).
- Freedom from bondage and the yoke of the taskmaster (Leviticus 26:12–13).
- Victory over fear, for He fights for us (Deuteronomy 3:22).
- Strength and supernatural help (Isaiah 41:10).
- A new experience of peace that wipes away painful memories (Isaiah 65:17).
- Good health and divine prosperity (3 John 2).
- We are the apple of His eye (Zechariah 2:8).
- He invites us to cast all our burdens on Him, for He cares (1 Peter 5:7).
- Rest from life’s burdens (Matthew 11:28).
- Supply of all our needs according to His riches (Philippians 4:19).
- Redemption from the power of death (Hosea 13:14)
The words of God come against these challenges thus: “So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift a standard against him” (Isaiah 59:19). God never fail and His promises will not fail you in Jesus name. I decree into your life that as the year is coming to an end, “you shall not be joined with them in burial” (Isaiah 14:20a) in Jesus’ name.
Once more, happy new month and wishing you, in advance, a Christmas full of joy and peace with abundant blessings.
Remain blessed.
