With gratitude to the Almighty God, I am delighted to welcome you to the month of September,
the ninth month of the year and the last month of the third quarter of the year. Naturally, when a
woman is pregnant, it is expected to give birth in the ninth month of the pregnancy. This brings
to the household joy, celebration, breaking forth, rejoicing, ease and victory after labour. I decree
into your life in this ninth month of this year that you will experience uncommon victory, great
celebration, mighty accomplishment in the mighty name of Jesus.

God has declared this month as the month of UNLIMITED GREATNESS in this parish. The
anchor scripture for this month is “Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every
side.” (Psalm 71:21). This is a wonderful theme for the month. Everyone desires to be great in
life, and as a child of God, this is not a sin. The bible talks of the testimony of Isaac thus: “And the
man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great” (Genesis 26:13). The
same thing was said of Jacob thus: “And the man increased exceedingly, and had much cattle,
and maidservants, and menservants, and camels, and asses” (Genesis 30:43). These are
testimonies of unlimited greatness. In another breath, while we talk about the greatness of Isaac and
Jacob in terms of material possession, we could talk of many of Jesus’ disciples, the apostles like
Paul who came after them, various prophets in the bible, and Jesus Christ himself in the way they
impacted and influenced their periods that we are still talking and reading about them till today.
This is the type of greatness that could not be quantified, could not be stopped, and could not be
limited because God is the architect.

When a man begins to experience unlimited greatness, it covers all aspects of his life. Also, he
transits from being a perpetual beneficiary to an excellent benefactor. Furthermore, his life
becomes a role model of a virtuous life. In addition, he will begin to enjoy good health while he
serves God with relish and joy. Every form of attack against him will come to nought because
God’s absolute protection will be upon him. He will not lack any good things of life because God
becomes his original source and supplier. It is against this background that you must constantly
examine your life to make sure you are permanently connected to God. First, by accepting Jesus
Christ as your lord and personal saviour. Second, by being rooted in Christ. Third, by running
away from all sinful acts. Fourth, by making yourself available for God’s use. Fifth, by being
intentional in doing good to others.

I pray for you that as you begin this month with joy, you will go through it with joy, and it will
be happy ending for you in Jesus name. Once more, happy new month.
