With great joy, I welcome you to the month of September, the ninth month of the year and the last month of the third quarter of the year. Naturally, when a woman is pregnant, it is expected to give birth in the ninth month of the pregnancy. This brings to the household joy, celebration, breaking forth, rejoicing, ease and victory after labour. I decree into your life in this ninth month of this year that you will experience uncommon victory, great celebration, mighty accomplishment in the mighty name of Jesus.
God has been gracious to us again to declare this month as the month of NOTABLE MIRACLES in this parish. The anchor scripture for this month is “But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves, Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it” (Acts 4:15-16).
I am happy to receive this theme from the Lord because if God helps you massively, the only thing that can follow is breakthrough testimonies, as well as notable miracles. The implication of this is that right from the beginning of this month, many great and outstanding miracles have been prepared for us, and each day of the month will begin to unpack them in no small measure. What is miracle, and what is notable miracle? In simple language, a miracle is something that is beyond normal, beyond natural and beyond any mortal. It is something that has only the signature of God on it. Notable miracle means miracle that nobody can hide from the public. For example, a full-grown pregnancy cannot be hidden, no matter how hard you try to hide it. It also means that the blessings of God will be manifested in your life. In essence, when God promises us notable miracles this month, it comes with elevation, promotion, breakthrough, accomplishment and shared success story, which no one can deny, and which will be accompanied by voices of celebration and congratulations on all fronts. One assurance we must take from this is that if God decides to make your miracle visible to all people to see, it means it has been sealed, and no one can stop or distort it. When this happens, long-time promises will begin to show up, finished work of grace will begin to emerge for all to see, the sun that has perpetually been in a position of sunset will begin to rise. Your enemies, known and unknown, will be forced to acknowledge you and celebrate either willingly or reluctantly, as it happened to Haman, who hated Mordecai and the entire Jews with passion for destruction.
From the above, it shows that the only source of notable miracles is Jesus Christ. The question that follows this is What is your relationship with Jesus Christ? Have you accepted Him as your lord and personal Saviour? These questions call for sober reflection and immediate action. You may desire notable miracles, but if you are disconnected from Jesus Christ, you will just be like an electrical appliance that is disconnected from the source of electrical power. That electrical appliance will not fulfil the purpose for which it was manufactured. In essence, make sure you are connected to Jesus Christ, maintain that connection consistently with intentional efforts, and your life will be a wonder to many(Psalm 71:7).
You are a blessing indeed, and happy new month once more.
