Walking in Dominion

Walking in Dominion

May the grace of God abound unto you always. Congratulations for the successful completion of the 40 days fasting and prayer, which ended at the beginning of last week. I believe it was another great and wonderful experience with the almighty God. As the dividends begin to roll in, you will be alive, hale and hearty to enjoy them to the fullest in Jesus name. Simultaneously my heart fill with joy unspeakable to welcome you to a new month of March and I decree into your life that as you have leaped beyond the month of February, you will also march forward on all fronts this month in Jesus name. We give glory to the almighty God for His faithfulness all the time and we bless God for His sustaining grace upon our lives. You will continue to wax stronger and to do greater exploits for Him in Jesus name. As we begin the last month in the first quarter of this year of pleasant surprises, the almighty God has declared this month as the month of “WALKING IN DOMINION”. The bible confirms this thus: “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth” (Genesis 1:28). The first act of God to man after creation was declaring blessings upon mankind. Also, the first commandment God gave to man was to walk in dominion. So the original intention of God for creating human being is to have dominion. In other words, if man does not walk in dominion he is living in disobedience to the commandment of God. For us to walk in dominion God gave us four important things we must do, namely, to be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth and subdue it. Before God gave us these four commands he had embedded in us the potentiality to actualize them. Also, all of them have to be combined before man could be said to be complete in his obedience to God’s commandment. To be fruitful simply means to be productive by means of bringing into existence what was not there previously. This is also multi-dimensional in meaning in the sense that the totality of your being must be fruitful. So to be fruitful goes beyond the fruit of the womb. Your thoughts must produce fruit, so also is your hands. Not that alone, your spirit must also produce fruit as enunciated in Galatians 5:22-23. All these fruits must also be brought in due season as mention in Psalm 1:3. For the fig tree attracted a curse from Jesus Christ because of its failure to bring forth fruits in due season. The lesson here is that we have to be complete both in timing and activities in our fruitfulness so that we can be called a fruitful bough by a well like Joseph (Genesis 49:22). After being productive, God also commanded us to multiply the fruits we have produced. To multiply means to increase, expand, and to exceed in number, size and depth. Genesis 26:12-14 vividly illustrates the principle of sowing and multiplication. In fact, Genesis 26:13 states clearly that the man was great, and went forward (multiply), and grew until he became very great. After multiplication God commanded us to replenish (fill the earth). This means to occupy the available space and to overwhelm the earth with your presence. The last of the commandment is for us to subdue the earth and this means to exercise control on what you have and sustain them. By extension it means to conquer exceptional barriers. Meanwhile, it is important to note that all these pre-requisites for walking in dominion usually come with opposition from the forces of darkness hence the need to have the word of God dwell richly in you (Colossians 3:16). To this end, I decree that henceforth you will begin to operate and walk in the power of dominion in Jesus name. Finally, I encourage all of us to build on and consolidate the spiritual gains (both on individual and corporate levels) achieved thus far this year. This is just a beginning of great, mighty and new things that God has prepared to do in our lives this year and beyond.  You are a blessing in Jesus name.
