DUE SEASON

DUE SEASON

The joy of the Lord is your strength. Welcome to the month of July, the beginning of the second half of the year. The first half of the year has been eventful and glorious for us as individuals, families and church. Glory be to God. However, the glory the latter house will be greater than the former says the Bible (Haggai 2:9). Hence I decree that the second half of this year will be more glorious for you, your family and the church than the first half of the year in Jesus name. Also, you will witness more of it in the land of living in Jesus name.

The theme of the month is DUE SEASON. God says in the bible If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. and your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely” (Leviticus 26:3-5). Nothing could be more comforting than the words of the Almighty God in these scriptures.

Due season is God’s season, His appointed time, which is never too late nor too fast. It is the set time of favour (Psalm 102:13). In our text, God did not promise to cause us to work for rain or place us in a place where we need rivers to water our land for fruitfulness but He promises to give us rain by His own power not in delayed season but in due season. The rain in due season will definitely accomplish the purpose for which it is meant for hence the land upon which the rainfall will yield her increase, the trees of the field on the land will yield her fruit while your threshing shall reach unto vintage. This is multiplication, fruitfulness and accomplishment at work. You will experience this in Jesus name. It is very important to remind you that, in most cases, the waiting period for your due season could be harrowing and it demands extreme patience as well as absolute trust in the Lord. Hence Apostle Paul advises us “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap if we faint not” (Galatians 6:9). This is an assurance that when it is your due season, long expectations come to pass sooner than expected, all laws and circumstances that could hamper your accomplishments will be suspended, God will go ahead of you and will create special route for you, God will begin to bring right people your way, and He will give you something good to talk about. Remember that the God who promises us due season is the same God who is almighty that controls times and seasons (Daniel 2:21) and since the Bible says there is a season for everything (Ecclesiastes 3:1) I join my faith with yours that this is your due season for promotion on all fronts, success on all sides, celebration, accomplishment, financial breakthrough, elevation and unending joy in Jesus name. Meanwhile, remember God’s words that you should “walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them” (Leviticus 26:3). For it is based on this condition that your due season will not be delayed or cancelled. You are destined for greatness especially the second half of this year because the glory of the second half of the year will be greater than the first half of the year as you devote yourself more into serving God and winning souls unto His Kingdom like true saints in Jesus name.

This month is Canada month of freedom from servitude, I wish all of you Happy 150th Canada Independence anniversary and you are set free from all shackles of life in Jesus name. As the church also celebrates Teenage Weekend, Children Weekend and Women Weekend this month, let us endeavour to put Christ at the centre of the programmes and God will be greatly glorified. You are a blessing in Jesus name.
