MANIFOLD BLESSINGS

You are gladly welcome to the month of April, the beginning of the second quarter of the year. Number 2 represents double so it is a quarter of double blessings and double honour. We thank God for a great and soul impactful first quarter of the year 2019. It has been our year of peace indeed. My prayer is that the peace of God will continually be our shield through this year and beyond in Jesus name.

The theme for this month is MANIFOLD BLESSINGS. This is a blessing from all sources available without sacrificing one for another. It is a type of blessing that shield one from any form of curse. It is a blessing that cannot be taken away by any mortal. It is a type of blessing that is intrinsically tied to your divine destiny. Our anchor scripture for this month is “Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb” (Genesis 49:25).

This scripture is far-reaching as the blessings being pronounced by the almighty God here are all-encompassing. For there is no other blessings that these ones. The blessings from above are divine, pure, unstoppable, never-ending and it is outpouring. The blessings of the deep that lieth under are treasures, limitless opportunities, advantages, incomprehensible depth of blessings, raw and undiluted blessings. The blessings of the breast are inexhaustible, satisfying, comforting, and protective. The blessings of the womb bring fruitfulness, protection, provision and celebration. The totality of this scripture is the blessings of God that make rich with no sorrow added to it (Proverbs 10:22). These blessings are not quantified by money but come in various forms like favour, provision, peace for usually trouble issue, wisdom to prosper and covering. However, the level of access to these blessings depends on your relationship with the custodian of the blessings. You need to develop an intentional and personal relationship with God because blessings that come from God cannot find a comfortable abode in the life where hatred, malice, fraud, impurity, laziness, arrogance, and pride are residing. So make a conscious effort to get rid all traces of these vices so as to continue to maintain yourself as a true child of God and consequently the right to access God’s blessings.
