Breaking Limitations

You are welcome to the eight month of this year. It is a positive beginning of new dawn, new chapter and new relationship with God who is ever faithful and dependable at all times and in all situations.  The theme for this month is BREAKING LIMITATIONS and our anchor scripture is Jeremiah 32:27, which says “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?”.

Human beings are faced with limitations in many areas of their lives. This is a situation in which they would not be able to proceed beyond a particular point either in vertical or horizontal movement. In other words, caps are put on their ability to multiply, dominate, progress, access what rightly belongs to them or the exploiting their potentialities to the maximum capacity. The underlying strong statement here is that removing these limitations goes beyond human knowledge, education, experience or capability. Therefore, God remains the only person with the ability to do so impartially with care and tender kindness hence His declaration that He is the God of all flesh and nothing is difficult for Him to do.

God will place upon you the power to break all limitations surrounding your finances, family, academics, spiritual growth and career in Jesus name. God will give you a new beginning that will erase all past stunted growth, moving in a circle, failure at the edge of success, limited opportunities, progress stopper and success breaker in Jesus name.

So when we talk about breaking limitations, it is a divine assignment that can only be accomplished perfectly by the almighty God. It is a fact that there are some powers and circumstances that work to place boundaries around man’s progress and advancement. The target of these evil powers is to set a permanent limit to the level of one’s progress and success so as to make it insignificant and unfulfilling. These powers have been at work since ages and they are still potent at present as they will continue to be damaging in the future. However, the power of the almighty God can break all forms of limitations as no limitation will be able to stand what God wants to do in the life of His children. The wall of Jericho constituted limitation and barrier to the capturing of the city by the children of Israel.  However, a simple obedience to God’s instruction keeps the presence of God with them and the wall of Jericho fell flat. With this, barriers, limitations and obstacles on the way of the Israelites were removed. Consequently, I decree into your life that every power setting limitations for you will be disappointed in Jesus name. God will place upon you the power to break all limitations surrounding your finances, family, academics, spiritual growth and career in Jesus name. God will give you a new beginning that will erase all past stunted growth, moving in a circle, failure at the edge of success, limited opportunities, progress stopper and success breaker in Jesus name.

However, we need to remind ourselves of the absolute need for holiness and righteous living to access God’s promise of breaking limitations for us. We must also not forget self-inflicted limitations, which are inimical to breaking limitations. For examples, by our thoughts we can limit what God can do in our lives, by actions we impose some limitations upon ourselves, and by our speech, we can attract limitation into our lives. Self-imposed limitations are more dangerous than the externally induced. One of the avenues for this is an intentional sinful act. This is what limits David from building the temple for God. This limits Gehazi in his spiritual ministry that was cut short abruptly. It also limits the ruler-ship of King Saul in Israel. So, let us run away from every form of sinful acts. The grace is available and sufficient for us in Jesus name. You are a blessing.
