THE MOST HIGH

Welcome to the month of October, the tenth month of double-digit and double honour. We were extremely blessed in the month of September with divine release both from bondage and release of hanging blessings. It has been amazing and nerve-relaxing month from our gracious God.
The theme for this month is THE MOST HIGH while our anchor scripture is “He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty” (Psalm 91:1). The simple message for this month is whatever might be the challenges you are passing through at the moment, no matter how long those challenges might be there and no matter the forces or powers behind those challenges, our God is the Most High and He is higher than any of them. He is the king of kings, which means He is higher than all kings. He is the lord of lords, which means whatever might or wants to constitute itself as lord over your life, the Most High is higher than him or her. He is higher than the highest, greater than the greatest, and has higher power than the most powerful among human beings. Genesis 14:22 describes the Most High as the possessor of heaven and earth. This means nothing in heaven and earth can be higher than God. Then why are you afraid as if your financial, marital, academic, career and even spiritual challenges are higher than God.

Also, remember that it is only what you have that you can give to another person. Hence, if you want to move to higher ground in any areas of your life, hand over everything completely to the Most High. However, there are some conditions to be fulfilled according to our anchor scripture. You need to dwell (not drive through) in the secrete place of the Most High. The secrete place here is not a place of boasting or pride, it is not a place of unnecessary publicity, it is not a place of show-off or parade, it is not a place of impatience, it is not a place meant to exhibit high educational qualification, pastoral titles or administrative acumen. Rather, the secret place is a place of brooding, a place of patience, a place of prayer, a place of humility, a place of Godly counsel and guidance, a place of holiness and a place of trusting God always at all times whatever may be the circumstance. Remember that the Most High is also the Almighty and His shadow accompanies Him wherever He goes, and this shadow is His presence. I beseech you, therefore, to connect permanently with the Most High in place of prayer, holy living and obedience to all His commandments as enshrined in the bible. Do this sincerely and those things manifesting as challenges in your life will become your footstools. Once again I welcome you to this new month with joy, peace and blessings of God in Jesus name.
