Greater Glory

Greater Glory

Welcome to the month of February, the second month of our year of moving from glory to glory. The almighty God is on the throne and He is in control hence any resisting power to the full manifestation of your glory will fail in Jesus name. In spite of odds of life, the first month of this year has been glorious with precious gift of life and breathtaking accomplishments as a result of God’s divine mercy and loving-kindness. This experience will continue in your life throughout this year and beyond in Jesus name. The theme for this month is GREATER GLORY and our anchor scripture is “The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts”. When God talks to us about greater glory in the second month of the year of moving from glory to glory, He means a full dose of His glory that sets you apart from the rest. It is an experience of above all obstacles, embedded with mercy and accompanied by irreversible blessings. This is the experience of Moses as stated in Numbers 12:8  when God says “With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the Lord shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?”. Many people and prophets of God in the bible had experience of the glory of God but none has the greater glory of speaking mouth to mouth with God almighty. This was further confirmed in Exodus 33:21-23 when God gave Moses a special access to greater glory and “And the Lord said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen”. This type of glory requires a mind of extreme patience, humble spirit, a heart of intercession for others, a spirit of inquiring from the lord and obeying God at all times. When this is in place, whatever might be your previous level of glory will be small in comparison to the greater one you are about to experience. I want to believe that it was this greater glory that insures heaven for Moses even though he could not get to the Promised Land.

“The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts”

Haggai 2:9

A reminder in our anchor scripture is that it is the Lord of hosts that promise greater glory. When we talk about the lord of hosts, we are talking about God who can fight all battles, use different methods and defeat all enemies. He will fight all your battles for you in Jesus name. God promises to give you peace in this year and beyond, and it shall be so in Jesus name. Greater glory will take you to greater heights in all areas of your lives in Jesus name. It will take you to greater height where you increase your love for Him, greater height of absolute consecration, greater height of selfless service, greater height of life-changing prayer life, greater height of hearing, reading, studying, and meditating the word of God.  His grace is sufficient for you and you are a blessing. Happy new month once more.
