Sunrise

From glory to glory, the faithful God has brought us safely to the eighth month of the year. We return all glory to the unfailing God and I heartily welcome you to the month that has many blessings in store for you in Jesus’ name. 

The theme for this month is SUNRISE and our anchor scripture is Isaiah 60:20, which says “Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended”. The word of God to us this month is heavily loaded. It is an affirmed prophetic declaration. Sunrise usually comes after sunset. However, the gracious God is telling you here that you will no longer experience sunset in any areas of your life again in Jesus’ name. This is very important because an experience of sunset that is not properly managed could affect one’s sunrise.

Isaiah 60:20

This was the case with Jacob who had an experience of sunset in Genesis 28:11 and it took him a complete 20 years before he could have an experience of sunrise in Genesis 32:31. So, when God says your “sun shall no more go down”, it is a coveted prayer that the sunset experience will be far away from you in Jesus’ name. You need to connect to this spiritually because the sunset experience comes with unimaginable and unquantifiable loss of great magnitude. The loving God also says “moon will not withdraw itself from you”. This is another powerful declaration from God that is embedded in your sunrise. The simple meaning of this statement is that whenever you need the guidance of God in your walk with Him, it will always be available to you. It also means that God is there at all times to save you from costly errors or mistakes. Furthermore, the sun and the moon are creatures of God, and in this case, God says the two will not work contrary to you. If God and the works of His hands are prevented from working against you, then you do not have any reason to fear anyone or any circumstance. Moreover, with your sunrise experience, your days of mourning, loss, failures, disappointments, sickness, fruitlessness and financial difficulties are over permanently in Jesus’ name. 

My prayer for you is that you will not engage in anything that will make the sun to set upon your destiny in Jesus’ name. Also, whatever might be your experience of sunset in the past is blotted out with the precious blood of Jesus. Meanwhile, I beseech you earnestly to give your life to Jesus Christ if you have not done so, rededicate your life to Him if you are a born again Christian already and run away completely from all forms of sinful acts. God’s immeasurable blessings upon you this month and beyond in Jesus’ name. Happy new month once more.
